September 15 & 16 - The Bonnieville Kennel Club of Farmington, UT
What a weekend!
After driving straight thru from Salt Lake City/Farmington area to Norco, CA, I've recovered and turned on the computer today.
I have to first mention that this was my first time driving to this show and the scenery is breathtaking in Arizona and Utah. Rarely
am I driving to a dog show and want to stop along the way to take photos, but there are almost no words for how spectacular the
red rock bluffs near Bryce and Zion are.
One of the local Utah folks posted they were trying to build a major and so I thought it would be a fun show. The drive thru Utah
was spectacular, the Utah Irish setter hospitality was very nice and met a lot of new people and finally put some faces with names
on others. There was one couple who was showing their girl for the first time....was fun to see. I think we all remember our very first
time showing in the ring! The show site is small and compact on LOTS of green grass and the foothills are close by. Weather was
lovely.mid 80's during the day and 50's at night.
Saturday results - Judge Mr. Sinclair
Sunday results - Judge Judy Webb
2 new champions (Rosie and Sydney) and one new grand champion (Maggie).....and my Am bred boy (Kevin) who now only needs
one point to finish too! A special thank you to Adrienne Owen who showed Rosie, Sydney, Kevin and Maggie to these lovely wins. And to
Chuck for taking care of all the rest of the kids!
Thanks to all the folks that built the major and the Utah hospitality.

I drove to Ocala, FL with three puppies, all under 19 months of age. All three placed
in their classes at the National and were shown by Annette and Van Pusey, whom they
had never met before.
"Patrick" Dublin's Lucky Charm, placed first in the
6-9 month Puppy Sweepstakes class. This was his FIRST show!
"Sarah" Dublin's Simply Irresistible, placed fourth in
the large and very nice 12-18 month class.

the American Bred class.
All three pups are my breeding, and I couldn't be prouder.
Dublin's Tip of the Month
